  
S&R Models TCM FD430 Assembly Tips
There is a small amount of assembly needed for this model. The forklift assembly must be glued to the body. Gap filing cyanoacrylate (CA) is suggested but regular CA will work too. We recommend that you remove the upper forklift assembly to avoid getting glue in the rails and accidentally gluing it in place. Slide it all the way up, tilt it forward and remove it from the lift rail assembly. After the glue dries, replace the lift assembly. The grabber will hold 48' and 53' containers, the arms should be extended only to the 40' connection posts. Use DeLuxe Container Glue (#990101) to hold smaller containers in place.
There are 2 different cab mounting positions. The elevated platform is installed at the factory and there is also a flat mount that fits flush with the body. Once you decide which you prefer, you can add the other detail parts. Cut the detail parts off the sprues carefully and test fit them. Use a drop of gap filling CA to secure each of them in the correct hole. The printed instructions have a diagram to help you locate the details on the body. There will be leftover parts if you use the low position cab mounting platform.
