| N Scale 40' Container Chassis |
Our 40' container chassis has been the mainstay of N scale container fleets for years. We recently started selling them decorated and assembled. The kit contains parts for 2 chassis and are available only in black. We expect to have a kit with a gray frame available later this year but the other colors have been discontinued. Don't forget that alternately stacked containers can be used as loads on another chassis which can also be used as a piggyback load. Future products in our chassis line will be coming, starting with a 53' chassis in both kit and assembled versions. Watch for the official announcement.

TRAC-Lease 40' Container Chassis 2-Packs: #1020, #1021
TRAC Lease is the chassis management subsidiary of container leasing giant Interpool. They have a fleet of over 200,000 chassis of various lengths. The TRAC Lease fleet is operated separately from the Interpool container fleet so it is common for other lessor boxes to ride these chassis. |

FLEXI-VAN 40' Container Chassis 2-Packs: #1010, #1011
New Jersey-based Flexi-Van is the preeminent container chassis lessor in North America. With the acquisition of the marine chassis fleet of TIP (a GE Capital company) in 2002 and the chassis fleet of XTRA in 2004, the Flexi-Van fleet swelled to a whopping 157,000 chassis! These lease fleets permit shipping lines to concentrate on the shipping and leave the chassis management to someone else.
