 TTX Corporation Twinstack Click Here for More New Products Item #151301 TTX large logo #1 Item #151211 TTX large logo #2 With a change of name from Trailer Train to TTX Corporation came a new logo. As cars have been serviced at one of TTX's facilities, they have been receiving these new logos regardless of whether the entire car was repainted or not. While some were lettered with smaller TTX logos positioned to the left of center of each side (as on the first deLuxe TTX run) many more received this version with the larger logos positioned to the right of center. Although the Gunderson Twinstack is one of the earliest designs of 5-unit double stack container cars, virtually all are still in service (a handful have been wrecked in the last 2 decades.) This is likely due to the high volume of 20', 40', and 45' international containers moving in "land bridge service" and the high strength design. Like virtually all of our Twinstack releases, this run is available with 2 different road numbers. |
