This is the second Navy release of the Military Honors Series in the America's Honor Collection. This car represents the Navy's Enterprise Carrier Group. First setting sail in 1962, the Enterprise was the first nuclear powered aircraft carrier. This gave the carrier unprecedented reach and speed. In it's first eight years of operation, the Enterprise was refueled twice! The Enterprise Group saw service in the Cuban Missle Crisis, Viet Nam, Bosnia/Kosovo, and Iraq. The carrier is currently undergoing refit in Newport News, Virginia.

This is the seventh release in the Military Honors Series (and the second for the Navy.) These deLuxe 1944 AAR standard 40' box cars have Micro-Trains Line trucks and couplers, etched metal running boards, stirrups and brakewheels, positionable doors, and fully formed underframe detail.
